What is
Invisalign^® treatment?

Invisalign® treatment uses a series of medical-grade plastic clear “aligners” that are designed specifically for your teeth to move them into alignment. The process begins by taking a digital image of your teeth. This digital image wil be used to plan your treatment from start to finish. Once Dr Bachmayer is satisfied with the predicted treatment outcome, he will send his plan to Invisalign Headquarters, who then build your custom made aligners based on Dr Bachmayers prescription.

Invisalign® clear aligners are suitable to treat dental issues such as:

• Large gaps
• Uneven spacing
• Crooked teeth
• Crowded teeth
• Some bite abnormalities
• Cross bites

Types of
Invisalign^® treatment

There are four types of Invisalign® treatment:

• Invisalign® Comprehensive: This is for more complex orthodontic cases with results taking 18-24 months to achieve.
• Invisalign® Lite: This method of Invisalign® treatment is designed for patients who only need treatment of the front six teeth. Minor corrections can be achieved within six months.
• Invisalign® Express: This is another version of Invisalign® treatment which is designed for patients who only need the front six teeth straightened. Results can be achieved in as little as three months.
• Invisalign® First: Children can benefit from Invisalign® treatment too! Invisalign® First aligners are designed to prepare your child’s teeth and jaw for orthodontic treatment and reduce the extent of treatment required.
