What qualifications does an orthodontist have?
Those embarking on a career as an orthodontist must first complete an undergraduate degree in dentistry. Once this study is complete, they will go on to postgraduate study in the field of orthodontics, which takes an additional three years.
Once they have practised orthodontics for several years, they can register themselves as a specialist in orthodontics. Our Specialist Orthodontists continue to educate themselves in order to stay current on advancements in orthodontics and provide the best quality care to our patients.
